We do this through our mission of saving and changing lives, by working collaboratively inside and outside the organisation to maximize our shared knowledge and bring greater impact to one another and our beneficiaries. What is the Helping Hand Foundation?
Helping Hand Foundation is a Swedish-British foundation originally founded by Arian Saravi in the fall of 2020 with a charitable purpose to create a better everyday life for the many children in need. Our mission is to empower and enrich the lives of the youth through education and creative resources to ensure long term success.
Why do we want to change the world?
People want to change the world because they are hopeful for a more peaceful and productive society. They have a version of the world inside of their heads that they can’t stop thinking about. That dream is full of optimism, imagining a world in which there is no war, global mobility is seamless and, above all, there is universal love. We believe that by expanding our perspectives to include those that don’t come naturally to us, we will be a part of the group that not only hopes, but effectively does, make the world better for future generations.
How does the HHF help in times of crisis?
We provide unrestricted core support to nonprofit partners working in emergency situations. Our emergency funding strategy focuses on supporting nonprofit partners to meet people’s needs in the immediate aftermath of a crisis. We believe that our emergency partners are best placed to decide when and how to respond to crises. Placing financial support with an organisation at the start of the year means they can allocate funds throughout the year.

How are funding partners selected?
We get the best results by working with partners who know the most in the areas we want to support. That’s why we partner with programmes managed by a combination of established and well-regarded organisations. These partnerships help us to secure top experts, develop innovative approaches to achieve the best results.
How does the HHF follow up on funded projects?
Annual grants are dependent on partners providing annual programme reports demonstrating that funds have been used properly and according to original intentions.
Can I apply for a grant?
No, since we don’t give out direct aid, there is no grant application and unsolicited funding requests aren’t accepted. There are so many great programmes out there, but we can’t fund everything, so instead, we concentrate our resources on cultivating partnerships with key organisations to maximise our impact. We do encourage you to keep up your efforts and to look for funding avenues that match your needs.
